"I have been playing a Müsing C3 bow for many years and I love its response and control, qualities that I appreciate especially when swapping from one style of playing and a repertoire to another. I like the consistency of the sound through the entire length of the bow and the sense of solidity and strength it gives when holding it ."

After 4 months of learning the double bass, a new bow was the first change I made. I have very good experiences on the cello with an Arcus bow from Mr. Müsing. For my new hobby, the C3 offers a great price/performance ratio, even in comparison to competing carbon products from the USA.

It doesn't need to shy away from comparison with traditional bows in the price segment up to 1500 EUR. It is richer in overtones than Pernambuco sticks, which is a matter of taste on the bass.... I like it. The response on the E-string is convincing.“

Alexa Friedel

Germany

"I wish I had known about the Müsing C5 earlier! Not only is it much lighter and faster than my old wooden bow, it also sounds much better. Since I got it, I can't stop playing..."

Chris Weeks

USA

"Wow! Compared to the Coda it makes the Coda seem 'muddier.' The C4 is brighter, more precise and an absolute joy to use."

Aaron Faulkner

USA

"I absolutely love how crisp and precise the tone is, especially with the C4."

Bruno Antonio Buike

Germany

"The Müsing C2 violin bow arrived today - and I am totally blown away. I hadn't imagined the improvement in sound (and playing) to be so great. The Youtube video with the bow comparison is a strong 'understatement'! Honestly, I have NEVER experienced anything like this in terms of SOUND!

Karl Varnai

USA

"Playing with the C5 carbon fiber bow at the 38th annual Wind Gap Bluegrass Festival in Pennsylvania couple of days ago. Loved the quick response and subtle nuances of playing Appalachian Old Time and Minstrel Era Rags with this bow.

This has become my favorite bow."

Tom L.

USA

"[...] I have no trouble with anything I play using the C2 and have never thought while playing, 'Oh, if only I had my good wood bow in hand.' I'm telling you this because if any fiddlers inquire about a Musing bow, you can tell them my experience and tell them that the lower grade, C2, might be all they need for Irish fiddling. [...] Since I'm retired, I live part of the year in Minnesota and part in Texas. Texas heat, and Minnesota cold, can both be hard on wooden musical instruments, but I can now go out in heat or cold with my C2 [...] with much, much less worry."

Gilles Lépine

Canada

"Hello Mr. Müsing, I just bought a C3 cello bow. My comment is that this bow will serve me to evolve faster than my first Yamaha CBB-301 carbon, it is much more even and the sound is less garish and cranky, and the weight also makes a good difference, well done for your imagination and creation, and the modern frog is really cool."

Andrea Wessa

Germany

"After a long research and a very nice phone conversation with Mr. Müsing, I decided to test the C2, C3 and C4. My luthier gave me the bows to test at home. In the end, the C3 was the best fit for my violin. I am totally thrilled with the sound. In combination with the Larsen Tzigane strings, my instrument really shines. The bow just feels good in the hand, if I may describe it that way, and is super to play. I have not regretted the purchase. I can really recommend the Müsing bows."

Jacob Thierfelder (Violin maker)

Germany

"The Müsing bows are designed in a way that makes the player play more confidently and easily right from the beginning, and at the same time forgive mistakes. Compared to wooden bows they have a much higher resilience, resonance and break resistance. [...] With the Müsing bows my instruments have a much better response and a fuller sound. After some tests I was so convinced of these bows that I ordered a range for violin and viola."
