The C-Series Viola Bows

Apart from the challenges for the left hand, the handling of the bow and the bowing technique can also be quite difficult when playing the viola.

Traditional viola bows are simply quite heavy and soft, and it is hard to find a bow with a really beautiful tone. To solve this problem and to give them the right tension for modern strings, we have made our viola bows significantly stronger. With a weight of around 61 grams, they're are also much lighter, almost as light as conventional violin bows.

Their special curve and their mass distribution gives them stability and agility. In addition, the hollow carbon fiber stick allows them to vibrate freely, so they respond easily and produce a big, beautiful sound.

All of this makes playing the viola a completely new experience. Everything feels much more natural and relaxed. Last but not least, a Müsing bow noticeably relieves the strain on your bow arm, making even the longest rehearsals and concerts an unclouded pleasure.
